2022 Yamaha WR450F

Based on the current YZ450F and forged in the searing heat of MX competition, the 2022 WR450F is tuned with enduro specific settings for controllable power and sharp handling in a wide range of off-road conditions. With specific features such as lights, multifunction display, sidestand and 18in rear wheel- there isn’t anything that the WR450F shies away from!

Features may include:

  • ENGINE PERFORMANCE

A lighter, more compact cylinder head runs a higher compression ratio at 13:1. A forged piston and specialized ECU settings work together to give the WR450F stronger, longer pulling power with excellent controllability.

  • ADVANCED CHASSIS

Yamaha’s bilateral beam aluminum frame is derived from the YZ450F to centralize mass and provide an ideal balance between cornering feel and straight-line confidence. Rigidity balance is optimized through its top triple clamp and front wheel axle and bar mounts to improve front-end feeling.

  • BUILT FOR ENDURO ACTION

Specific ignition and fuel injection maps are optimized for enduro riding and racing, featuring longer and stronger pulling power with increased controllability. The chassis has been tuned for enduro riding by using WR-specific engine mounts. An 18-inch rear wheel and tires, large 7.9-litre fuel tank, radiator fan, sealed O-ring chain, steel rear sprocket and a high-mounted aluminum side stand are additionally designed specifically for the rigours of the enduro environment.
